Progress to the next level of fitness programs when you feel ready to do so. You can always try a harder or easier fitness program depending on your results and how you are feeling about your performance.
If your performance in strength and attendance in the gym is better on an easier program, stick with that level of the program until you begin to plateau. Consistency over time will reap results much more than doing more than you can maintain for a short period.
Beginner
A beginner program is meant for someone with little to no experience in the gym or if you have not been constantly going to the gym for over one year. It’s best to build a foundation and get your habits in place.
Intermediate
An intermediate program is meant for someone with experience in the gym and you are consistently following a training program. You have the fundamentals of exercises down and are looking to push your body to the next level.
Advanced
An advanced program is meant for someone with lots of experience in the gym and you are consistently following a training program. Intermediate programs feel too easy and you’re ready to take yourself to the pinnacle of fitness.
